st. joe bay

St. Joe Bay is one of the most beautiful bays Florida has to offer, the water is usually crystal clear and there are miles and miles of grass flats. This is a place that I typically like to target speckled sea trout and there is always great potential to catch some nice flounder and redfish as well. There are several spots to launch kayaks on both sides of the bay.

Indian pass

The Indian Pass area is mostly marsh and muddier water. This is typically a great place to target redfish and flounder. We do catch speckled trout in the area but not as much as other locations.

This is where the backwater tours will take place.

St. Andrews Sound

Tyndall Air force Base

St. Andrews sound is located on Tyndall Air Force Base & a $20 recreational pass is required to access it. The fishing is great with speckled sea trout & redfish being the most commonly caught but it’s not rare to catch nice flounder as well. There are multiple locations to launch ensuring we can get to the right spots to catch the fish! This is also a beautiful place to take a tour and have the opportunity to see some amazing marine life!

Some areas of Tyndall Air Force Base are only accessible on weekends and holidays.

EAST BAY

Tyndall Air Force Base

East Bay is a great place to fish with the focus being more bayous and darker water. We typically catch a lot of speckled trout and some nice redfish here, not as many flounder in this area. There’s plenty of spots to launch from and it can make for an awesome day of fishing!

The $20 recreational pass is required for this area.
