Frequently
asked questions
Where will we be fishing?
We will have the choice to fish from a variety of beautiful locations in the area including Cape San Blas, St. Joe Bay, Indian Pass, Tyndall AFB & Panama City. I will typically choose where we fish based on conditions like wind, tide & where I feel we’ll have the best luck for the particular species you’re after but the choice is ultimately yours.
What Kind Of fish will we target?
As of now I only offer inshore fishing trips so we will be targeting Redfish (Red Drum), Speckled Sea Trout & Flounder with the potential to catch other species like Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum and many more.
do i need to bring my own gear?
No, top of the line gear is provided including fishing poles, kayaks, life vests, pliers, fish grips, landing nets and more. You can choose to bring your own gear if you wish. Checkout the about section for more details.
Can you clean my fish for me?
Yes, I offer to clean and vacuum seal your catch for a small fee.
Where will we meet?
I have access to a variety of boat ramps and kayak launches in the area, the meeting point will be determined based on where we decide to fish and I will provide you the address and location before your trip. Certain boat ramps like the T.H. Stone Memorial state park will require a daily fee usually between $4-$6.
Is a fishing license required ?
Yes a valid Florida saltwater fishing license is required and can be purchased in certain stores, online through the FWC website or through the Fish | Hunt FL mobile app. I can assist with this process if needed. Additionally if we decide to fish on Tyndall Air Force Base a $20 recreational permit is required and can be purchased online through the Tyndall iSportsman Website.
Should i leave a tip?
Tips are absolutely NOT required but are very appreciated if you enjoy the trip. I work very hard getting everything ready and setup to be able to have the best chances at putting you on fish and making unforgettable memories.
Will i have fun?
My main goal is to make every trip as enjoyable as possible and I will do whatever it takes to make that happen!
